반려동물과 함께하는 인구 1500만 시대.
애완이 아닌 반려라는 말 처럼 그들은 우리의 소중한 가족이다. 하지만 그들의 시간은 우리의 시간에 비해 턱없이 짧다. 타투이스트 김리아와 한산은 언제 어디서든 당신과 함께할 수 있는 당신의 소중한 기억을 선물한다.
타투이스트 김리아와 한산은 얇은 바늘을 사용해 피부라는 캔버스 위에 놀랍도록 섬세한 표현을 해낸다. 그들의 작업은 실물을 그대로 옮겨놓은 듯 한 생생한 표정과 만져질 듯 부드러운 털의 질감 묘사가 인상적이다. 겨우 손가락 하나 길이도 안 되는 크기에 놀랍도록 디테일한 표현들은 감탄을 자아낸다. 이들의 작품은 국내뿐만 아니라 전 세계적으로 큰 관심을 받고 있다.
유한한 시간을 가진 당신의 소중한 가족을 영속성을 지닌 문신으로 새기는것은 단순한 하나의 이미지나 장면을 떠나서 더 큰 의미를 가진다. 더불어 그들의 작업 과정은 그저 소비자와 작업자의 건조한 관계가 아니다. 그들은 작업 하는 동안 자신의 반려동물에 대해서 이야기하면서, 손님들과 깊은 유대감을 쌓는다.
그들은 말한다. "사람마다 반려동물을 몸에 새긴다는것은 여러 이유가 있어요. 반려동물을 먼저 떠나보내서 이기도 하고 다가올 이별을 준비하기 위해서 이기도 해요. 하지만 어떤 이유에서든 결국 잊지 않고 더 사랑하기 위해서가 아닐까요?"

Pets are our precious family. But their time is far shorter than our time in this world. Tattooists Kim Ria and Hansan present your precious memories of being with you anytime, anywhere.
They use thin needles to express give surprisingly delicate expressions on their skin. Their work is impressive with vivid expressions that seem to have moved the real thing as it is and made the description of the texture of the soft, touching fur.
Surprisingly detailed expressions that are less than a finger's length are admirable.
Their works are receiving great attention from not only in Korea but also around the world.
Engraving your family with finite time into permanent tattoos is not just an image. This has a greater meaning. 2017년에 타투를 시작했고 현재 서울 스튜디오바이솔 소속 타투이스트입니다. 작고 세밀한 작업을 하고 있으며 주 로 반려동물을 주제로 작업을 합니다. 저에게 반려동물 타투를 의뢰하는 손님들은 길게는 수년간 타투 받는 것을 고민한다고 합니다. 저 또한 십여 년을 함께한 소중한 반려견이 있고 팔 가운데 제 반려견의 모습을 담았습니다. 그 래서인지 저는 손님들이 어떤 마음으로 반려동물을 새기는지 공감이 많이 됩니다. 작업 중 손님과 서로의 반려동물 의 얘기를 하며 나누는 그 감정은 형용할 수 없습니다. 때때로 우리는 함께 울고 웃기도 합니다. 저에게 소중한 작 업을 맡겨주시는 손님들에게 깊은 감사를 전하며, 저는 그들에게 마음을 다해 소중한 가족을 새겨주었던 타투이스 트로 기억되고 싶습니다.

I started tattooing in 2017. I'm currently working at SOL Tattoo Studio in Seoul. My works are small and delicate tattoos, and they are mainly about pets. My clients say that they have been considering for years before getting tattoos. I also have a tattoo of my precious dog that has been with me more than a decade. I deeply empathize with my clients as I also have the same experience with them. I want to take this opportunity to thank my clients for asking me to do a meaningful work for them. I hope I could be remembered as a tattoo artist who engraved their precious family with all my heart.

반려동물이 가족 그 이상의 소중한 존재임을 누구보다 공감하기에 한 작업 한 작업마다 온 마음을 다해 작업합니 다. 단순히 타투라고 말하기엔 부족한 이 특별한 기록들을 많은 사람과 공감하고 싶은 마음에 이러한 전시를 준비 하였습니다. 세상 모든 반려동물이 항상 건강하고 행복하길 바랍니다.

I'm Hansan, a tattooist living with three cats in Seoul. I do delicate realism tattoos. My works are predominantly paintings of old masters and animal portraits. Cats are especially my favorite. Small nose, eyes like galaxy, and soft belly fat... How can cats be so adorable?
As I empathize that pets are more than just a family member, I work with my heart every time. I prepared this exhibition to share these special records which have way more meaning than simply a tattoo. I wish all the pets in the world are always healthy and happy.
